Anglian Tectonics is a member of The British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association (B.W.P.D.A.). The B.W.P.D.A. was founded in 1929 and is the largest association of its kind in Europe and is a nationally recognised authority on timber and damp problems. It sets high standards for its members in technical competence, health and safety, environmental protection and customer service.
The B.W.P.D.A has served the interests of the industry, specifiers and clients for 75 years. The Association can provide a full range of technical, marketing and administration services to members, specifiers and clients.
The Property Care Association (P.C.A.) is a division of the B.W.P.D.A . The P.C.A. is a trade association representing specialists in wall-tie replacement, remedial timber treatment and damp proofing, manufacturers and distributors of damp control and timber treatment products, independent consultants, freelance surveyors and private members.
The PCA was formed to:
- Provide an industry voice to liaise with relevant government departments.
- Increase recognition of the quality of damp control and timber treatment products and the range and quality of services available from its members.
- Create a framework of training and qualifications to assist members in reaching the necessary level of knowledge and skill to deliver effective services in damp control and timber treatment.
- Provide opportunities for Continuing Professional Development to enable members to maintain and develop their knowledge and skills in damp control and timber treatment.
- Work with Guarantee Protection Insurance to make it possible for clients to obtain insured protection for damp control and remedial timber treatment guarantees.
Anglian Tectonics are members of The Structural Waterproofing Group. The S.W.G was formed to increase recognition of the quality of waterproofing products and services available from its members and also to provide training and testing for member companies to ensure their competence.
Anglian Tectonics are TrustMark approved contractors. TrustMark is the “Kite Mark” of the building industry. Those exhibiting the TrustMark logo will have been vetted for technical competence and will have the integrity to work to an acceptable code of ethics and conduct.
Anglian Tectonics have been awarded (The) Investors In People Status. This is the national standard, which sets out a level of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals and improvement of business performance and competitiveness.
